Find answers to the most common questions about our precision steel casting, CNC machining, materials, quality testing, and supply chain capabilities.
Our green sand casting facility can produce single-piece castings weighing up to 2,500 kg (2.5 MT). For highly intricate geometries, our investment casting division handles components up to 150 kg with exceptional dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Yes. We operate a comprehensive in-house CNC machine shop equipped with VMCs (Vertical Machining Centres), HMCs (Horizontal Machining Centres), VTLs (Vertical Turret Lathes), and Horizontal Boring machines. We supply "ready-to-fit" components directly to your assembly line, eliminating the need for third-party machining vendors.
We pour over 150 different grades including Carbon Steels (WCB, WCC, LCC), Alloy Steels (WC6, WC9, C5), Stainless Steels (CF8, CF8M, CF3, CF3M, CA6NM, CA15), Duplex & Super Duplex Steels (CD4MCu, A890 Gr 4A/5A), Manganese Steels (Mn 12-14%), and High Chrome/Ni-Hard wear-resistant alloys.
Absolutely. We offer comprehensive in-house NDT capabilities including UT (Ultrasonic Testing), MPT (Magnetic Particle Testing), DPT (Dye Penetrant Testing), and Radiography (RT). All testing is performed by ASNT Level II/III certified technicians to ASTM, ASME, and EN standards.
APC is triple ISO certified: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety). We also hold an EcoVadis Sustainability Rating and comply with PED 2014/68/EU for pressure equipment castings.
Yes. Every shipment includes comprehensive documentation including Material Test Certificates (EN 10204 3.1/3.2), chemical analysis reports (Spectro), mechanical test results, dimensional inspection reports (CMM), NDT reports, and heat treatment records. Third-party inspection (TPI) by agencies like TÜV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd's, and DNV is also supported.
For new components requiring pattern/tooling development, the typical lead time is 8-12 weeks (including design review, simulation, pattern making, first-off casting, machining, and quality inspection). Repeat orders with existing tooling are typically delivered within 4-6 weeks.
Yes. APC is an established exporter with a strong global presence across Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia-Pacific. We handle all export documentation, sea-worthy packaging, and logistics coordination. Our castings are currently serving clients in over 20 countries worldwide.
